No.153 Yosuke Kojima: Pottery July 29 – Aug. 10, 2022 Open everyday during the exhibition 11:00 – 18:30 MAP: Kyoto yamahon
We are pleased to announce an exhibition by Yosuke Kojima, a ceramic artist based in Iga, Mie Prefecture. He was born and raised in the production area of ceramic, and studied under his father, potter Kenji Kojima. His works, which were fired in a wood-fired kiln, allow you to feel the taste of soil and the power of nature. He produces different kinds of pottery tableware including Iga, Shigaraki, Karatsu ware, and tea bowl in korai type, as well as overglaze gold and overglaze silver ware. They are suitable for presenting food and get a lot of appreciation from professional chefs. It is his first solo exhibition at Kyoto yamahon, and we are looking forward to your visit.
