We are pleased to present an exhibition of Kiyokazu Tsuda, a glass artist from Katsuragi, Nara. Tsuda explores the charm of ancient Roman and Japanese glass, transforming these inspirations into forms and textures that resonate with his own sensibilities rather than simply reproducing them.He expands the expressive potential of glass through a diverse range of works, including pieces that highlight the depth of luminance and shadow through delicate cuts, as well as those that evoke a wabi-like aesthetic with metal foil and stone powder applied to the surface. This exhibition will showcase a variety of items, focusing on vessels for daily use, such as dishes, sake cups, and flower vases.
