We are pleased to present a solo exhibition of Yosuke Kojima, a ceramic artist working in Iga City, Mie Prefecture. Engaging deeply with the local Iga clay and firing his works in a traditional wood kiln, Kojima produces vessels that balance strength and stillness, evoking a profound sensory response with every use. The son of renowned potter Kenji Kojima, Yosuke grew up surrounded by ceramics from an early age. His work flows seamlessly across a range of techniques—spanning Iga, Shigaraki, Korai styles, and gold and silver decoration—yet always maintains a cohesive and refined aesthetic. His pieces are cherished not only by individuals in their daily lives, but also by professional chefs who appreciate their form, function, and expressive presence at the table. We warmly invite you to experience the quiet beauty that emerges from the union of hand and clay.
