福井県鯖江市にて漆器を制作される中野知昭さんの展覧会を開催いたします。卓抜した上塗りの技術とリズミカルな手際の良さがそのまま投影された中野さんの器は、どこを見てもうっとりするほど美しい見事な仕上がり。際立った個性で勝負するものではありませんが、シンプルで使いやすく、丁寧に仕上げられた器はしっとりと艶やかな質感とともにどこか柔らかい表情を見せます。今展覧会では、お椀やお皿など日常的にお使い頂ける漆器を中心に出展いただきます。どうぞご高覧下さいませ。


We are pleased to announce an exhibition by Tomoaki Nakano, a lacquer artist based in Sabae, Fukui Prefecture. His superb skill of lacquering together with the flexible and smooth workflow provides the lacquerware a breathtakingly beautiful surface finish. Though his lacquerware has a glossy finish, the simple design for usability enables it to be gentle in appearance. There will be lacquerware for daily use, such as bowls and dishes on show.We are looking forward to your visit.
