このたび、福岡県宮若市にて作陶する石原祥充さんの展覧会を開催いたします。石原さんは、大学と大学院で彫刻を学び、その後、地元福岡で陶芸家である父のもとで修行を重ねてきました。地元の土を使用し、制作された作品からは、モダンな造形でありながらも土の持つ温かみと柔らかな質感が伝わります。薪窯焼成による豊かな表情は、見る者に深い印象を与えます。今回の展覧会では、飯碗や湯呑、急須など日常使いの器に加え、近年取り組まれている炭化の技法による花器やオブジェなど幅広くご覧いただけます。ぜひご覧いただければ幸いです。

We are pleased to announce an exhibition featuring the ceramic artist Yoshimitsu Ishihara in Miyawaka City, Fukuoka. Ishihara studied sculpture at university and graduate school, and subsequently trained under his father, a ceramic artist, in his hometown of Fukuoka. His works, made from local clay, convey a modern aesthetic while also expressing the warmth and soft texture of the earth. The rich expressions created through wood-fired kiln techniques leave a deep impression on viewers. This exhibition will showcase a wide range of items, including rice bowls, teacups, and teapots for everyday use, as well as vases and objects made using the carbonization technique that he has recently been exploring.
