滋賀県の信楽にて作陶する古谷宣幸さんの展覧会を開催いたします。ア メリカやデンマークなど世界各地での作陶経験を重ね、伝統の技法を大 切にしながらも、自由で豊かな表現力で多様な作品を生み出してこられ ました。特に、古谷さんがライフワークとして追究する天目作品は、深 淵な輝きと端正なフォルムが織りなす、奥ゆかしい趣に満ちています。 本展では、天目作品をはじめ、日常使いの器や茶碗、花器などを出展い ただきます。暮らしの中にしっくりと溶け込みながらも、ひとつひとつ が独特の存在感を放つ古谷さんの器たち。「用の美」が息づくその世界を、 ぜひご高覧くださいませ。

We are delighted to host an exhibition featuring Noriyuki Furutani, a ceramic artist based in Shigaraki, Shiga Prefecture. With experience creating ceramics in various parts of the world, including the United States and Denmark, he has embraced traditional techniques while showcasing a free and expressive style. Notably, his Tenmoku pieces, which he pursues as a lifelong passion, embody a profound brilliance and refined forms, exuding an understated elegance. This exhibition will feature a selection of Tenmoku works, as well as everyday tableware, teacups, and vases. Each piece seamlessly blends into daily life while maintaining a distinct presence.
