唐津とアメリカ・メイン州に工房を構え、二つの土地で作陶を続ける中里花子さんの展覧会を開催いたします。唐津の土と技をルーツにしながらも、自由でモダンな空気をまとった器は、日本とアメリカ、それぞれの暮らしや食文化の感覚を映し出しています。柔らかで豊かなフォルム、土の深みをたたえる色彩、そして料理や花を引き立てる余白。今回は茶器と酒器を中心に出展しており、角皿を多く取り入れることで、丸い器が中心の食卓にさりげない表情の変化を添えます。個展ならではの普段とは違った色彩や質感をお楽しみいただけます。どうぞ手に取り、その質感や形から花子さんの感性と暮らしへのまなざしを感じてください。

We are pleased to present an exhibition of Hanako Nakazato, who works from studios in both Karatsu, Japan, and Maine, USA. Rooted in the clay and techniques of Karatsu, her vessels carry a modern, free spirit, reflecting the lifestyles and food cultures of both countries. Soft, generous forms, rich clay colors, and subtle spaces enhance food and flowers while bringing quiet presence to everyday life. This exhibition focuses on teaware and sake vessels, with many square plates adding gentle contrast to tables usually filled with round forms. Please take them in your hands and feel, through their forms and textures, Nakazato’s sensibility and her vision of daily life.
