We are pleased to announce an exhibition of works by Maiko Miyaoka, a ceramic artist based in Ome City, Tokyo. Drawing inspiration from traditional ceramics, Miyaoka creates pieces with a refined yet lighthearted impression. This exhibition will feature a range of works, from simple tableware suitable for everyday use to special pieces for celebratory occasions, as well as vases and other decorative items. Her motifs of flowers and birds, rendered with soft, flowing lines, convey a sense of elegance combined with natural ease. We hope visitors will enjoy each piece while imagining how it might feel to use it in daily life.
