展覧会｜京都　「土屋 美恵子展 」開催のお知らせ。

奈良市内の工房で手織を中心に布を作るつちや織物所の土屋美恵子さん。昔ながらの織り機を使用しゆっくりと織られた布は空気を含み柔らかな風合いになります。自家栽培した綿を使用し、手紡ぎでできた糸は紡ぎ手の呼吸に合わせ生き生きとした表情を見せます。今展ではティッシュケース、風呂敷、ストール、数寄屋袋、掛け花入、垂撥や帯など幅広く展示いたします。京都やまほんでは初めての展覧会となります。どうぞご覧ください。


We are pleased to announce an exhibition by Mieko Tsuchiya, the owner of Tsuichiya Orimonosho Textile Studio, based in Nara prefecture. She using a traditional handloom to weave cloth that feels like a cloud. With the whole process by her hand, the cotton yarn seems to breathe and provides a warm feeling. There will be a large range of works including tissue case, wrapping cloth, stoles, sukiya bags and hanging vases on show.
