唐津にて作陶する浜野まゆみさんの展覧会を開催いたします。古伊万里に見られる、雑味が残り陶石の味わいを感じられる磁器に魅了された浜野さん。憧れの古伊万里を手本に、陶土、焼成、絵付など研究を重ね、江戸時代に途絶えていた糸切成形を復元されました。日本画を学ばれた浜野さんの絵付けは、緻密な筆遣いながらもおおらかで柔らかい印象を湛えます。今回の展覧会では、向付ほどのお皿を中心とした多くの種類の作品を出展頂きます。どうぞご高覧ください。

We are pleased to have the exhibition of Mayumi Hamano who makes pottery in Karatsu. She was amazed by Imari ware which is made of unrefined clay and has rough texture. She studied how the old Imari ware was made, what material and technique are used, and she finally fonud the classic method using string to shape her works which is disappeared in Edo era. Since she studied Japanese painting “Nihonga”, her painting on her works is very accurate and generous.
