長野県・安曇野で竹工藝を製作する吉田佳道さんの展覧会を開催いたします。暮らしを軸とし、日常生活の中に竹の美を提案する吉田さん。丁寧に編まれた花籠は、道端に咲く草花の美しさに気付かせてくれるようです。竹が持つ清らかで凛とした空気、それは吉田さんの手によって姿を変えてもなお漂い、花や食材を優しく包み込みます。今展ではこれからの時期にぴったりの涼しげな花籠を中心に菓子器やコースター、お膳などの平面もの、茶籠や茶筅筒などを出展頂きます。どうぞご高覧くださいませ。

We are pleased to hold the exhibition of Yoshimichi Yoshida, a bamboo craftsman based in Azumino city in Nagano prefecture.
His works realize us the beauty of natural flowers blooming on the street. The clear and imposing atmosphere that bamboo originally has is still there even after the shape is changed by him.
For this exhibition, we are going to be showcasing his new flower baskets, as well as tea ceremony tools and objects that could be used daily.
